Shortages of Hot Toys will already be happening. The trick is to find stock of them for resale on eBay or Amazon. Try out of the way or smaller retailers they will often still have a few.
Beware however of buying toys that that everyone knows or expect to be in short supply, it is likely that eBayers already have bought stock. Instead look out for the unexpected Xmas hits.
